    Norman E. Vojtech

    August 2, 1965 - August 26, 2021

Norman E. Vojtech, 56, of Green Bay, passed away on Thursday, August 26, 2021 at home after battling diabetes and dementia. He was born on August 2, 1965 in Green Bay to Walter and Barbara (Khoury) Vojtech. Norm graduated from Green Bay East High School in 1983 and earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay, majoring in human development. Norm worked for the developmentally disabled at Lutheran Social Services, Beyond Abilities, and Oaks Family Care Centers. Norm also served as a volunteer guardian for the disabled. Norm was a fierce advocate for human rights and the environment, and he had the bumper stickers to prove it! He loved traveling with his life partner, Russell Reuter, and spoiling their dogs. Norm took enormous pleasure in surprising people with random acts of kindness and putting a smile on their face. Left to cherish Norm’s memory are his father, Walter Vojtech; brother, Warren (Theresa) Vojtech; sister, Trina (Adam) Kuhnz; nephew, Ben Vojtech; and niece, Julia Vojtech; aunt, Karen Adelfang; uncles, Paul (Elsa) Vojtech and Donald (Sharon) Khoury. Other relatives and friends further survive him. He was preceded in death by his mother, Barbara; and life partner, Russell Reuter; and uncle, Edward Vojtech. A memorial service will be held for Norm at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, September 10, 2021 at Malcore Funeral Homes-East. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 5:30 p.m. until the time of the service. Norm will be laid to rest in the Emery Cemetery in Phillips, WI. The family would like to extend a warm thank you to the amazing staff at Green Bay’s ADRC, Lakeland Long Term Care, and Aurora Health for their support and kindness.
