Neil “Pat” Kossow, 77, Green Bay, died peacefully Wednesday evening, Dec. 17, 2014, with his family at his side following a lengthy illness while at a local hospital. Born Aug. 2, 1937, in Algoma, he is the son of the late Lyle and Vi (LuMaye) Kossow. Pat married the former Sandie Lemmens on April 15, 1972, in Green Bay. Pat was a dedicated, hard worker, being self-employed as a drywaller within the construction business for most of his adult life. He also worked for 10 years as a laundry worker at the Radisson Hotel. Pat was an avid outdoorsmen who loved to hunt and fish with his family and friends, and enjoyed his times at the casino. He also cherished his times with his faithful feline companion, P.J.
Pat is survived by his wife of 42 years, Sandie; five sons and two daughter-in-laws, Steve, Brad and Brenda, Brian, Tim, and Jeff and Tracy Rupiper; daughter, Lisa; three addition sons by his first marriage, Mike, Pete, Tom Kossow; many grandchildren, Colton, Krystal, Heather, Ben, Josh, Brian, Jr., Tanner, Tiffany, Stacy, Aaron, Matt, Melissa, Keith, Amber, and Gordy; and numerous great-grandchildren; father and mother-in-law, Arnold and Verna Lemmens; one brother, Don and Dorothy Kossow; brother-in-law, Tom and Sue Lemmens; two sisters-in-law, Judy Gosz and Linda Lemmens; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother and sister-in-law, Darryl and Karen Kossow; brother-in-law, Marty Lemmens; and P.J. the cat.
Visitation at Malcore (East) Funeral Home. 701 N. Baird Street, Monday, Dec. 22, from 4-7pm. Memorial service 7pm at the funeral home.
