Mildred D. Wichman, 86, Green Bay, formerly of Gillett, died Tuesday, May 20, 2014, in Green Bay with family by her side. Born in Seymour, August 29, 1927, she is the daughter of the late Clement and Elizabeth (Freeze) Groat. Milly grew up on her family farm and then married Ray Wichman, September 17, 1949, at Freedom Moravian Church. She enjoyed gardening, playing bridge, camping, sewing and quilting, and the outdoors. Milly will be sorely missed by her family.
She is survived by her children, Ken (Penny Tennermann) Wichman of Cincinnati, OH, Sue (Lynn) Munger of Blue River, Doug (Ann) Wichman of Green Bay; 3 grandchildren, Emily, Elizabeth, and Sam Wichman; 2 sisters, Arlene Newton of Pensacola, FL, and Dorothy Ring of Appleton; many other relatives and friends.
Milly was preceded in death by her parents; husband; 2 sisters, Lois (Ralph) Woehler, and Ruth (Tom) Atkins; 2 brothers-in-law, Don Newton and Wesley Ring.
Visitation at Malcore (East) Funeral Home, 701 N. Baird Street, Green Bay, Tuesday, May 27, 2014, from 2:30 P.M. until the time of the memorial service at 4:30 P.M. with Rev. Bill Kamke officiating.
