Michael “Mike” H. Besaw, 61, Green Bay, died after a courageous battle with cancer on April 29, 2013, surrounded by family. Born on February 25, 1952, he is the son of the late Raymond and Virginia (Labedelle) Besaw. On June 14, 1980, he married the former Mary Woodford in Green Bay. Mike coached children’s bowling for 22 years, mostly at Riviera Lanes. He also took pride in volunteering in the classroom of his granddaughter, Makayla. Mike had a passion for NASCAR and cars in general-fixing them up, going to shows, and attending races.
Mike is survived by his loving wife of 32 years, Mary; three children, Brent Besaw (fiancée Robyn), Seymour, Misti (Kevin) Stiles, and Tyler Besaw (girlfriend, Alexandra), both of Green Bay; three children from a previous marriage, Allen Besaw, Sandy (Bill) Deloney, and Connie Besaw; four grandchildren, Keelie, Autumn, Bryce, and Makayla; four grandchildren from a previous marriage; two sisters, Debbie (John, Jr.) Kuffel, and Jan Stuckart; one brother, Christopher (Barbara) Besaw; mother-in-law, Sophie Woodford; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and father-in-law, Allen Woodford.
Visitation at MALCORE (East) Funeral Home & Crematory, University Ave. at Baird St., Thursday from 3:00 p.m. until the time of the funeral. Funeral service 7:30 p.m. at the funeral home with the Rev. Andy Cribben, O. Praem officiating.

Mike is up in heaven teaching children to bowl and taking his dog Rox for a walk.
