Marjorie (Jolly) Schwartz

Marjorie P. (Jolly) Schwartz, 94, Green Bay, met her Lord and Savior Tuesday morning, March 10, 2015, at a local hospital. She was born at home on March 11, 1920, in Green Bay, to the late Alphonse and Victoria (DeMuyser) De Keyser. Marge graduated from East High School, Class of ’38. She married Edward “Jack” Jolly on June 26, 1948 at Saints Peter and Paul Church. He preceded her in death on October 21, 1989. Marge then married Gerald Schwartz on December 4, 1991, in St. Francis, WI. He preceded her in death on August 18, 1996. Marge will be remembered for her warm caring nature.

Marge is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Roger and Janine Jolly of Nashville, TN and Jim and Sandy Jolly of Green Bay; one daughter, Ann Hoida of Green Bay; ten grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren with another on the way; one sister, Dorothy Cumbers of Green Bay; and one sister-in-law, Mildred DeKeyser of Green Bay.

She was preceded in death by her husbands, Jack and Gerald; one son-in-law, Tom Hoida; one granddaughter, Carly Jolly; four brothers, Harold, Bernard, Alphonse, Jr. “Butch” and Carlton “Cully”; one sister, Thelma VanBeek; as well as other close relatives and friends.

Visitation at MALCORE (East) Funeral Home, 701 N. Baird Street, Friday from 3pm until the time of the funeral. Funeral service 7:30pm at the funeral home with Rev. Ken DeGroot, O Praem officiating. Entombment in the Allouez Chapel Mausoleum.

Marge’s family extends a special thank you to her supportive nieces and nephews, her many caring friends and the dedicated staff of Moraine Ridge Senior Living.

In lieu of other expressions of sympathy, a memorial fund has been established at the funeral home.
