Margie Ann Finch-Gerrard, 73, Green Bay, died peacefully Sunday afternoon, January 12, 2014. Everyone who belongs to Christ will be given new life. 1 Corinthians 15:22. Born in Clintonville on March 18, 1940, she is the daughter of the late Herbert W. and Beatrice L. (Johnson) Finch. Margie was a Nurse’s Aide who contracted with various institutions in both Green Bay and the Fox Cities, including San Luis Manor. She continued her education, becoming a REIKI Healer and an Intergrative Rebirther. Margie was a selfless being who loved helping and healing others. She will be remembered for the joy she found in nature, including gardening, long walks and bird-watching. Margie treasured family events and being with her loved ones, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She is survived by five children, Michael, Rickey (Sheri), Nicholas, Jacqueline (Tom), and Gerry; grandchildren, Christie, April, Amy, Colin, Rachel, Adam, Katy, Chad, Quinn, Sean, Nicole, Christina, Natasha, Tanya and Natalie; great-grandchildren, Maciah, Ariel, Violet, Kaylee, Elijah, Maddison, Isiah, Ayden and Emma; sister Marlene Palmer and her sons, Dean and Scott.
Margie was also preceded in death by her brother, Herbert O. Finch on December 10, 1981.
Visitation at MALCORE (West) Funeral Home, 1530 West Mason Street, Wednesday, January 22, 2014, from 4pm until the time of the service at 7:30pm with Rev. Joshua Errer officiating. Burial in Graceland Cemetery, Clintonville.
In lieu of other expressions of sympathy, a memorial fund has been established at the funeral home.
