Louise Prokash

Louise R. Prokash, 94 of Green Bay, passed away on Saturday, July 24, 2021 at Patient Pines Assisted Living. She was born on September 3, 1926 in Two Rivers to the late Paul and Elsa (Krueger) Burdick. Louise was united in marriage to Sylvester Prokash on October 18, 1941 in Casco, WI. Louise attended school through 8th grade and went on to be a life long homemaker. Her enjoyments included, traveling, oil painting, knitting, crocheting, baking and kayaking. She kayaked all the way up until she reached 90 years old. Louise also enjoyed her big band and old time polka music. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary of Algoma for over 25 years. Left to cherish Louise’s memory are her children, James (Erma) Prokash of North Carolina and Pamela DePrey of Green Bay; seventeen grandchildren; many great and great great grandchildren; brother, Paul Burdick; daughter in laws, Cathy and Cathy Prokash; and son in law, Gary Markert.
