Lois E. Hintz

May 13, 1936 - December 4, 2021

Lois E. Hintz, 85, Ashwaubenon, formerly of Allouez, died at a local nursing home early Saturday morning, December 4, 2021. Born May 13, 1936, in the town of Springville, WI, she is the daughter of the late Martin and Elsie (Cook) Heitman. Lois graduated from Adams-Friendship High School, Class of 1954. She married Paul H. Hintz on October 9, 1954 and he preceded her in death on September 26, 2004. Lois had worked as a bookkeeper for a number of years but her best and favorite calling was that of a wife, mom and grandma. She loved to play golf was a member at Shorewood golf course for many years. Lois also learned to play Mahjong and thoroughly enjoyed playing the game with friends. Lois is survived by her daughter, Stephanie (John) Lovas, Oxford, WI; son, Barry (Laura) Hintz, New Berlin, WI; granddaughters, Ana and Sydney Lovas; grandsons, Kellen and Owen Hintz; Siblings, Jim (Carolyn) Heitman, Dorothy (Harold) Ashworth and Robert Heitman; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In addition to her parents and loving husband of nearly 50 years, Paul, she was also preceded in death by a sister and brother-in-law, Carol Jean (Howard) Edwards. Friends may call at Pilgrim Congregational Church, 991 Pilgrim Way, on Monday, January 10, 2022 from 10:30am until the time of the service. Memorial Service 11:00am Monday at the church with Pastor Andy King officiating. Malcore (East) Funeral Home is serving the family. The funeral will be video taped and posted to Pilgrim Congregational Church's website following the service for those who are not able to attend in person.
