They were married for 52 years, until her death.

Lloyd loved his family, his country, and his faith. As a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather he would attend all children’s events and even grandchildren’s events. Lloyd served his country in the Navy having joined at the age of 17. He was part of the 103rd Seabee Battalion and helped rebuild Naval Airbase, Guam at the end of WWII. He received the Victory Medal for his service. He loved his country and would fly his flag daily.
He retired from Procter and Gamble after nearly 40 years at the age of 60. In his retirement, he and his wife, Bernie, bought their dream home and he enjoyed gardening, golf, and traveling.
He had a life-long strong catholic faith being very active at St. Peter & Paul Church, serving as an usher and going to church daily and then a member of Prince of Peace. He was also a member of the Knights of Columbus and was a Eucharistic Minister at St. Vincent Hospital.

Lloyd is survived by his six children and their spouses (Ret.) Col.
