LaVonne (Prevost) Agamaite

July 29, 1939 — February 9, 2017

LaVonne (Prevost) Agamaite, 77, Luxemburg, passed away February 9, 2017, after a courageous battle with cancer. Born on July 29, 1939, she is the daughter of the late Walter and Lillian (Vaness) Prevost. She married Felix Agamaite, Jr. on February 23, 1957, at St Joseph’s Church in Champion and he preceded her in death on January 29, 1994. LaVonne and Felix ran the family dairy farm for many years. She was then church secretary at St. Matthew’s Parish. LaVonne also worked at Red Rocket where she met many friends. She was known by all of them as “Lovey”. She worked at Anna’s House as well before retiring to enjoy her great grandchildren. She enjoyed spending time at the casino. LaVonne enjoyed the many days shopping with her daughter and granddaughters and she loved her time relaxing up north with her family and a Bloody Mary. LaVonne was a loving wife, mom, grandma, and great grandma. She will be greatly missed by her entire family.

LaVonne is survived by her two sons, Patrick Agamaite (Debbie Prosser) of West De Pere, and Vaughn (Lori) Agamaite of Green Bay; one daughter, Crystal (Robert) Rader of Luxemburg; twelve grandchildren, Brooke Smith (David Gauger), Brittnie (Daniel) Davister, Kendra Agamaite (Jason Hipke), Kyle Agamaite (Deven Mohrbacher), Kirk (Jackie) and Brad (Lindsay) Prosser, and Abbey Ledvina, Allan, Nick Eckola, Darrell (Alisha) and Jesse (Kristin) Jonet, Bob (Jessica) Rader; fifteen great grandchildren, Daryn and Braxtyn Smith, Teagen and Tenleigh Gauger, Jackson, Weston, and Danica Davister, Ember, Ethyn Metoxen and Remington Hipke, Jesse and Jordy Agamaite, Taylor, Jameson, and Caleb Prosser; one sister, June (Lou) DeGroot; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Yvonnie Pennings, Sandy (Laurel) Joniaux, Evelyn Agamaite, Art Alexander, Martin Konop, and James (Linda) Agamaite.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Felix, Jr.; son, Rodney; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Garland, Donald (Jean), Gloria, Diane, and Jack.

Visitation at Malcore (East) Funeral Home, 701 N. Baird Street, Monday, February 13, from 4 PM until 8PM with a rosary at 7:30 PM. Visitation will continue Tuesday at St. Joseph’s Church in Champion, 5996 County Rd K, from 10 AM until the time of the Funeral Mass at 11 AM. Entombment at Shrine of the Good Shepherd Mausoleum.
