Kyle Barr, 19, Maribel, passed away suddenly due to a tragic automobile accident on December 24, 2021. The family is deeply saddened by their loss. Born in Green Bay on December 2, 2002, he is the son of Dr. Karen Strickfaden and Dr. Richard Barr. Kyle was a graduate of Notre Dame Academy in May of this year and was set to enter boot camp for the US. Marine Corp in early January, 2022. Kyle loved the outdoors, enjoyed hiking and exploring new places. He was an extremely hard working young man, spending his time on various local dairy farms. He enjoyed the time with his friends driving four-wheelers, dirt bikes and snowmobiles. Kyle was always happy to lend a hand where needed. He lived life to the fullest with no regrets. Kyle lived for each day, let go of yesterday, and didn't worry about tomorrow.
Kyle is survived by his mother, Karen; father, Richard; sister, Nicole; and many other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Earl and Mary Jane Strickfaden and his paternal grandparents, Robert and Eleanor Barr.
Visitation at Malcore (East) Funeral Home, 701 N. Baird Street, Thursday, December 30, 2021, from 5-8pm. Parish Wake Service 7pm Thursday at the funeral home. Visitation to continue Friday, December 31, 2021, at Prince of Peace Church, 3425 Willow Road, from 9:30am until the time of the funeral. Funeral Mass 11am at the church with Rev. Dennis Ryan officiating. The Friday Mass will also be live-streamed on Facebook at popgb54311. The church's website is www.popgb.org .

We will always remember Kyle’s genuine and giving nature. He wasn’t afraid to be himself and he touched the lives of many people. He will be missed greatly and we will continue to carry all of the great memories in our hearts. This is not goodbye but rather see you later. Always loved, forever missed and never forgotten.
