Kenneth Vandertie

Kenneth "Ken" Vandertie, 66, of Little Suamico passed away May 8, 2022, after a brief illness. Born on November 12, 1955, he is the son of the late Norbert and Kathleen (Buhr) Vandertie. He was a graduate of Southern Door High School Class of 1973. When Ken was young he worked in the ship yards in Sturgeon Bay. He worked at Green Bay Correctional Institute for many years and retired there. Ken loved racing, both racing himself and watching the races. He also enjoyed fishing.

He is survived by his daughter Amy (Alex) Ullenberg of Fond du Lac; two adored grandchildren, Nicholas and Alexis Ullenberg; loving sister, Mary (Don) Ross, and brother, Jim Vandertie; nieces and nephews and his feline companion, Baby.

Ken was preceded in death by his parents and the love of his life, Jean Destree.

Visitation at Malcore Funeral Home, 701 N. Baird St. Saturday May 14, from 10 AM until the time of the service at 12 PM (noon).
