Julie (Meyer) Aus, 53, Green Bay, passed away June 28, 2015, after an extended illness. Born on February 19, 1962, she is the daughter of Elroy Meyer and the late Wenda (Huebner) Meyer. Julie graduated from New London Senior High School class of ’80. She then graduated from Western Wisconsin Technical College of LaCrosse with an emphasis in Graphic Arts. Julie married Rick Aus on March 21, 1992, in Readfield. She worked at Shopko for 29 years as a production artist. Julie enjoyed reading, knitting, gardening, times spent with her dogs (especially Shadow). She was especially proud of her extended family. Julie loved times spent with her grandkids, aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
She is survived by her husband, Richard; two step children, Katie Lynn Howlett of Marshfield, Trever Aus of New York; step grandchildren, Keiven , Johnathon, Isaac, Katherine, Rebecca, Zuri, Addison, and Madelyn; Dad, Elroy; brother, Rodney Meyer; many other relatives and friends.
Julie was preceded in death by her mother, Wenda; maternal and paternal grandparents; step son, Eric Aus and sister-in-law, Lisa (Stern) Meyer.
Visitation at Beautiful Savior Church, 2160 Packerland Dr., Wednesday, July 1, from 4 PM until 7 PM. Visitation will continue Thursday at the church from 9:30 AM until the time of the funeral service at 11:00 AM with Pastor Ehlert officiating.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to Froedtert Memorial Lutheran Hospital, doctors, and staff. Also a special thank you to the staff at Bellin Hospital especially Dr. Timmons. Lastly a special thank you to Uncle Lyle “Buzz” and Aunt Sandy Huebner, and Uncle Gary and Aunt Sandy Hoerning.
In lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been established in Julie’s name.
