Joseph “J.D.” Loch Jr., 84, Howard, passed away peacefully on September 13, 2013, at his home. Born on January 16, 1929, he is the son of the late Joseph Sr. and Mary (Ronk) Loch. He married the former Beattie Barlament on December 2, 1950, at Sacred Heart Church in Great Falls, Montana. J.D. was proudly self-employed his entire life with Joseph Loch Plastering and Drywall. He loved duck hunting, cutting his grass, and taking his grandchildren on wagon rides behind his John Deere tractor. J.D. and Beattie enjoyed making their annual booyah cookout for everyone on the Little Ponderosa. He taught his three sons hunting, fishing, and carrying on the family trade of plastering.
He is survived by five children and their spouses, Christine Kornowski of Green Bay, John (Peggy) Loch of Cecil, Mark (Kim) Loch, Jerry Loch and Lynn Chambers, Sherri (Sam) Belter all of Howard; 13 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; four sisters, Sr. Mary Barbara Loch, Lucille Lannoye, Honey Wesolowski, and Laverne (Ray) Burich; two sisters-in-law, Bonnie Barlament and Rona Loch; and many nieces and nephews.
J.D. was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Beattie; one infant daughter, Cindy; five brothers, Bucky, Norbert, Malcolm, Harold, and Kenny; and two sisters, Anna Wouters and Florence Persson.
Visitation at MALCORE (West) Funeral Home & Crematory, 1530 W. Mason Street, Tuesday from 4:00 PM until the time of the funeral service at 7:00 PM. Entombment at Fort Howard Memorial Park.
