Jonathon F. Konen

Jonathon F. Konen, age 69 of Suamico, passed away on Friday, February 25, 2022 at Bay Harbor-Longview Terrace I. He was born on April 12, 1952, in Fond du Lac to Julius and Dorothy (Tagliapietra) Konen.
Jonathon graduated from Kaukauna High School and continued his education in real estate in Madison, and psychology at UW Green Bay. A talented entrepreneur, he founded several businesses, including a waterbed-spa showroom, of which he was most proud.
He was an avid coin, stamp, and antique collector, and he loved nature. Along with fishing and canoeing, he was a strong supporter of the Nature Conservancy. Left to cherish Jonathon’s memory are his mother, Dorothy Konen, and brothers Tamarack Song and William (Betty) Konen. His father, Julius, preceded him in death.
Per Jonathon’s wishes, there will be no formal services held. Instead, he asked that we celebrate his life with a party. He requested to have his body donated to science, which his family has honored.
The family would like to extend a sincere thank you to the staff of Brown County Department of Aging, Bay Professional Guardianship, Heartland Hospice, Science Care Body Donation, and Malcore Funeral Home, for all the care, support, and guidance that had been given through the latter days of Jonathon’s journey.
