John Seidl, 65, Green Bay, passed away unexpectedly June 21, 2015. Born on September 26, 1949, in Green Bay, he is the son of the late James and Marcella (Terrien) Seidl. He graduated from East High School. John married the former Shirlee Vandermuss on December 31, 2002, in Green Bay. He worked as a Foreman at Asphalt Seal and Repair for many years. John loved camping at White Clay Lake Resort and spending time with his friends and family, going to rummage sales, and flea markets. He also enjoyed his annual fishing trip in Canada at Brandt’s Resort. John was an all around handyman who could tackle any project. He will be remembered for his bright smile, infectious laugh, and his famous chili.
John is survived by his wife, Shirlee; step grandchildren, Stevie, Candice, Skye, and A.J.; eight brothers and sisters, Lory Stoneburner, James Seidl, Mary (Merle) Pludeman, Margaret (Richard Joslin) Lepp, Nancy (John) Wild, Robert Seidl, Michael Seidl, and Veronica (Jon) Hovland; sisters-in-law, Pat, Larayne, Roe, and Jeannie; Godson, Jamie Seidl; many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one step-son, Patrick W. Vandermuss; mother-in-law, Frances L. Kishketog.
Visitation at Malcore (East) Funeral Home 701 N. Baird St. Friday, June 26, from 10 AM until the time of the funeral service at 2 PM at the funeral home.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to Dr. Williams, Dr. Bottei, and all the nurses at St. Vincent ICU, especially, Kayla L. and Melissa R.
