Jerrilyn Naffier, 68, Green Bay, passed away March 26, 2014. Born on September 2, 1946, she is the daughter of the late Jerrold and Helen (Poquette) Naffier. Jerrilyn was a graduate of Menominee High School class of ’64. She went on to graduate from UW Madison in 1968 with a Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education. She was very proud of her military service and served in personnel management as Data Processing Chief at Fort Meade, MD, for the United States Army. Jerrilyn went on to get her Masters Degree in Public Administration at George Washington University in 1978. When her military career ended she then worked at a Disabled Veterans Outreach Program in Marinette. She then went on to become a substitute teacher and president of the Green Bay Area Chapter of the National Organization for Women. Jerrilyn was a member of Pi Lambda Theda, DAV commander Club, Russel Leight #3, as a Bronze Leader, and a Red Cross volunteer. She was a member of First United Church of Christ Church in Green Bay. Jerrilyn enjoyed reading books and needlework.
She is survived by her one brother, Richard Naffier of Menominee, MI.
Jerrilyn was preceded in death by her parents.
Visitation at Malcore (West) Funeral Home, 1530 W. Mason St., Tuesday from 3 PM until the time of the service at 6 PM. Military Honors to follow.
