James Hardy, 8, Green Bay passed away in his sleep December 3, 2014. James was born May 3, 2006 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Green Bay to Adam and Sarah Hardy.
James loved music of all kinds, which always brought a smile to his face. He enjoyed running and biking in his racing wheelchair with his mother, and was a myTEAM TRIUMPH Captain. He was entertained by the antics of his younger sister Emma; they shared a special bond. He was modest, always finding a way to sleep soundly through any event in his honor. His smile lit up a room. His presence helped others find inner peace.
He attended Lincoln Elementary, Syble Hopp School and was enrolled in 2nd Grade at Bay Harbor Elementary.
He is survived by his parents, Adam and Sarah; sister Emma (6); grandparents, Dave and Shirley Strange, and Reed and Jill Hardy; Aunts/Uncles, Lissa and Chris Balison, and John and Corie Strange, cousins Xavier, Lily and Bennett Strange, and Karter Balison; and so many other loving friends and family.
Visitation will be held at Malcore (West) Funeral Home, 1530 W. Mason Street, this Sunday, December 7, from 3-5 p.m., with a celebration of his life immediately following at the Titletown Tap Room, 200 Dousman Street, Green Bay. A myTEAM TRIUMPH run/walk in his honor will leave the Tap Room at 5:30 p.m. Public are invited to attend the viewing, celebration and run/walk, and are encouraged to come with memories of James to share. The family would like those participating in the run/walk to bring headlamps, flashlights or other illumination to symbolize James’ light in this world.
The family would like to extend a special thanks for the love and support that so many people provided in James’ life. He was blessed to have such a caring community surrounding him.
