Jack Francis Stangel

John "Jack" F. Stangel, 70, of Abrams, died Thursday morning October 18, 2018. He was born February 11, 1948, in Manitowoc County, to the late Frank and Violet Stangel. His first passion was pheasant hunting. He was a very good artist who was known especially for his drawings of birds, and woodworking. Jack loved teaching people new things especially Autumn. He was a loving husband, brother, dad, grandpa, uncle, and great uncle. Survived by his wife, Teri Augustian; three step children, Charles Holtermann, Col. Jay (Erika) Holtermann, Keri Jo Miller; three grandchildren, Autumn, Sage, Luke; sister, Judith (Ken) Crellen; numerous other relatives. Preceded in death by his parents; niece, Jennifer. No formal services will be held at this time. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff of Bellin Hospital and Manor Care West.
