Helen Malcore, 93, Green Bay, passed away on October 28, 2015. Born on October 1, 1922, in Green Bay, she is the daughter of the late Clarence and Alvina (Alberts) Meverden. Helen lived her entire life in Green Bay. On November 28, 1942 she married George Malcore. He preceded her in death on October 26, 1983. Helen worked for many years at Green Bay Foods, until her retirement. She was a longtime member of St. Francis Xavier Cathedral.
Helen is survived by one stepdaughter, Joyce (Malcore) Matzke; step-grandchildren, Marlene Tasquin, Karen (Joseph) Duckett, Mike (Mary) Matzke, Jerry (Bonnie) Malcore, Judy (Dave) Skog, Patty (Pat) Joyce, Tom Malcore, and Tammy Malcore (Jeff Bloomquist); 27 great-grandchildren; 28 great-great-grandchildren; and 5 great-great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband; step-children, Clifford (Mary) Malcore, and Vernie (Jim) Skornicka; step-grandchildren, Robert Skornicka, Mary Jo, Carol Kaye, and Paul Matzke; four sisters, Georgina and June, and two infant sisters; and one step-son-in-law, Jim Matzke.
Visitation at St. John the Evangelist Church, 413 St. John Street, Saturday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the funeral. Funeral Mass 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the church with the Rev. James Feely officiating. Burial at All Saints Cemetery in Denmark.
