Gary Arthur Larscheid

March 4, 1936 — October 5, 2021

Gary Arthur Larscheid passed on to his eternal home October 5, 2021 after a beautiful, full and blessed life. He joins his wife Lois in the everlasting arms of his Lord Jesus.

A lifelong resident of Green Bay, he was born March 4th, 1936 to the late Leonard and Louella (Rueckl) Larscheid, he married Lois Larscheid (Wochenske) on August 30th, 1958 . Dad met Mom in January of 1955 while still at Central Catholic High School. Upon graduation, he joined the US Navy, trained at the Naval Station in Great Lakes, Illinois, and served overseas aboard the USS Wallace L. Lind. Upon his return, they were married and started their family. He owned and operated Larscheid Welding, a family business he took over from his father. Gary built a family cabin on Pine Ridge Lake in Lakewood, Wisconsin in 1976. He loved being in the woods with his family, having a full house, and watching his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren jump off the dock. Gary was a very talented wood carver and had the gift of turning a simple piece of wood into a work of art. He was an amazing husband and father, lover of the great outdoors, the Packers, the Brewers, and of course Moose Tracks Ice Cream and Jim Beam. Gary was a devout Christian and a long- time member of SS Edward & Isidore Parish in Suamico.

Gary is survived by his four children Linda (Joe) Newton of Green Bay, Susan (Richard) Pink of New York, Michael Larscheid and his favorite grand pup Josie, of Boise, ID, and John (Carla) Larscheid of Green Bay. He was a loving and wonderful grandpa to Melanie (Eddie) Moreno, Justin (Raven) Duprey, Jason Duprey, Noah Larscheid, Adam Larscheid, Owen Larscheid and Nicky Pink. Beloved great grandpa to Mariah Moreno, Matthew Moreno, William Moreno, Fehin Duprey, Sully Duprey and Levi Duprey. He was a brother to Gail Libert and brother-in-law to Rosemary Wochenske and Bette Wochenske, he also had many wonderful cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. Gary was preceded in death by his wife Lois, his parents, in-laws Edward and Blanche Wochenske, brothers- in-law Paul and Richard Wochenske and Larry Libert.

Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 11 a.m. on Saturday, October 23, 2021, at SS Edward and Isidore Catholic Church, 3667 Flintville Road, Green Bay, 54313. There will be no visitation prior to the mass. Burial with full military honors will follow in the church cemetery. Online condolences and memories are welcome at www.malcorefuneralhome.com . Our family would like to send our heartfelt thanks to the selfless heroes of the Suamico Fire and Rescue Department, and the heroes at St. Vincent’s Hospital 9th floor and 4th floor Covid-19 units, all of whom unselfishly cared for our father. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Gary’s honor to The American Cancer Society and SS Edward & Isidore Parish. Memorials may be sent to Malcore Funeral Home, 1530 W.
