Francis A. Loch, 85, Green Bay, died peacefully on April 27, 2014. Born on February 10, 1929, in Green Bay, he is the son of the late Edward and Agatha (Kerowicz) Loch. On September 18, 1954, he married Mary Ferris, and she preceded him in death on October 8, 2003. Francis was a proud veteran of the Korean War, wile serving in the U.S. Air Force. He worked at Northwest Engineering in Green Bay for 39 years, until his retirement. Francis was a long-time member at Blessed Sacrament Church, where he loved socializing with many of the wonderful families. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, as well as watching golf and the Packers. He also cherished dancing, especially a good Polka.
Francis is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Carol (John) Phillippi, Holcombe, WI; two grandchildren, Dawn (Kevin) Kearns, Lake Mills, and Melanie (Mark) Robinson, Neenah; three great grandchildren, Phoebe and Cordelia Kearns, and Caleb Robinson; one brother, Edward Loch; one sister, Rose Collins; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, John Loch; one sister, Mary Collins; one brother-in-law, Joseph Collins; and one sister-in-law, Carol Jean Loch.
Visitation at Malcore (East) Funeral Home, 701 N. Baird St., Wednesday from 4 – 8 p.m. Visitation will continue Thursday at Blessed Sacrament Church, 825 Webster Avenue, from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the funeral. Funeral Mass 10:30 a.m. at the church with the Rev. Mike Scolare officiating. Entombment at Ft. Howard Mausoleum.
