Donna La Luzerne

Donna La Luzerne, 76, Green Bay, passed away peacefully on May 28, 2015, after a courageous battle with cancer. Born on April 21, 1939, in Appleton, she is the daughter of the late Elmer and Mae (Daniels) Marchant. Donna married Lyle La Luzerne on May 19, 1962, at St. Therese Church in Appleton. In her younger years she loved boating and fishing with her dad, and spending time at the cottage. Most of all, she cherished spending time with her family. She enjoyed downhill skiing, traveling, boating, water skiing, biking, camping, hiking, flower gardening, horseback riding, and she had a great love for nature and spending time outdoors. Donna had a passion for cats, and volunteered for many years at Cats Anonymous. She also volunteered at the Shrine of Our Lady of Good Help and Heritage Hill.

Donna is survived by her husband, Lyle; four children, Jackie Zarn of Park Ridge, IL, Dawn (Shawn) Petitpren, of Brothertown, Wis., John (Merry) La Luzerne of Mound, MN, and Kris (Rick) Lardinois of Green Bay; twelve grandchildren; one great grandchild, and one on the way; one sister and brother-in-law, Mary (Rick) Davidson; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Visitation at St. Bernard’s Parish, 2040 Hillside Lane, Thursday (June 4, 2015), from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service. Memorial service 11:00 a.m. Thursday at the church with the Rev. Mark VanderSteeg officiating. Burial at St. Francis DePaul in Duval, Wisconsin.

In lieu of other expressions of sympathy, memorials can be made out to Cats Anonymous in Donna’s name.
