David W. Roskowski

David W. Roskowski, 72, Green Bay, passed away peacefully with his family by his side, from complications due to Covid on Tuesday, December 28, 2021, at St Vincent’s hospital in Green Bay, WI. He was born January 9, 1949, in Green Bay, son of the late David and Sally (DuPont) Roskowski. David attended Green Bay East High School and went on to proudly serve his country in the United States Navy. He married Lou Anne Trepanier on May 2, 1970 in Oconto. David worked for Kendall Manufacturing for many years until its closure and then for Green Bay Packaging for 12 years. He retired in 2011.
He enjoyed woodworking, fishing, spending time with his grandkids, praying the rosary, and being outdoors. He was also an avid Packers and Brewers fan and liked going to country music concerts with his dear friend, Bill Sonnenberg. David was a proud member of the Knights of Columbus and SS Peter and Paul Parish. He devoted many hours volunteering both at his parish and at The Shrine of Our Lady of Good Help.
He is survived by his loving wife, Lou Anne; his son, Keith (Jodi) and their three children: Ashlyn, Ethan and Nolan; and his son, Kevin (Victoria) and their child, Kaden; five siblings: Cherryl (Chris) LeBlanc, Kathy (special friend, Bob) Knapp, Linda DeBauche, Julie Vincent, Daniel (Mary) Roskowski; numerous nieces and nephews, along with other relatives and friends.
In addition to his parents, David was preceded in death by his grandson, Joshua Roskowski; father and mother-in-law, Clarence (Comp) and Carol Trepanier; brothers-in-law, Dan Vincent, Claire Trepanier, Paul Trepanier; sister-in-law, Patty Trepanier; and niece, Kimberly Trepanier.
Family and friends may visit Malcore (East) Funeral Home, 701 N. Baird St., on Friday, January 7, 2021, from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m., where a parish wake service will conclude the evening at 6 p.m. Visitation will continue on Saturday at SS Peter and Paul Parish, 710 N. Baird, from 9 a.m. until the hour of Mass at 11 a.m., with Fr. Jose Lopez officiating. Interment with full military honors will follow at Allouez Catholic Cemetery.
The family respectfully requests that all visitors please wear a mask at the visitations and the mass.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund will be established that will benefit the Knights of Columbus and the charities they support.
