Charles "Chuck" Weckler
August 3, 1953 - March 12, 2022
Charles "Chuck" Weckler, 68, Green Bay, passed away unexpectedly Saturday afternoon,, March 12, 2022, at a local hospital. Born August 3, 1953, in Sturgeon Bay, he is the son of the late Clarence and Rita ( Swan) Weckler. Chuck spent many years keeping people safe as a set-up man for Strates Shows Carnival and enjoyed his time as a shrimp boat captain. Chuck had many adventures including attending Sturgis and other thrilling times with family and friends. Chuck is survived by his fiancee', Mamie Ihlow; two daughters, Brandi (Tanial) LaViolette and Stephanie (Shawn) Gau; grandchildren, Layden, Kyle, and Alex; siblings, Charlene Weckler, Valerie Weckler, and Michele (significant other, Chris Woods) Martin; numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by a vast number of other family members and friends. A Celebration of Life is tentatively being planned for late April and will be announced by the family. Chuck's family extends a special thank you to the caring doctors and staff of St. Mary's Hospital. Malcore Funeral Home is serving the family.
