Bradley S. Salo, 61, Green Bay, died unexpectedly on Friday, March 13, 2015, at a local hospital with his family by his side. Born in Burlington on August 15, 1953, he is the son of Sulo E. Salo and the late Helen Marie (Eilers) Salo. Brad graduated from St. Norbert College with a degree in Elementary Education and earned his Master’s Degree in Education from Viterbo University. He married the former Patricia “Pat” Bruner on June 26, 1976, in Cicero, IL. Brad taught in the West DePere School District until a disability brought early an retirement upon him. He owned and operated a Great Lakes Fishing Charter out Kewaunee for many years under his boat’s name, “Teacher’s Pet”. As a family, Brad, Pat, and their children loved traveling throughout the U.S., including his two favorite places: Homer, Alaska and Three Lakes, Wisconsin.
Brad is survived by his wife, Pat, Green Bay; two children, Eric Salo, Three Lakes, and Aili (Nick) Heintz, Hobart, along with their two children, Mason and Landon Heintz at home; one brother, Dr. Bruce (Ginny) Salo, Stratford; and his nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his mother and brother, Kevin Salo.

A memorial fund has been established at Capital Credit Union for Brad’s grandchildren.
