Barbara Rae Bahr, 77, Butler, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, Dec. 20, 2021, at a local hospital. She was born October 5, 1944, in Milwaukee, daughter to the late Ray and Betty (Seifert) Gilbert. She worked at First Wisconsin and US Bank during her life.
Barbara loved spending time with her grandchildren and enjoyed bingo, cooking and baking.
She will be deeply missed by her 3 children: Don Schmitz; Justine Laes; and Greg Bahr; 4 grandchildren: Hazel, Zoe, Craig II, and Ethan; 2 siblings, Kathy and Michael; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Barbara was preceded in death by her son, John Schmitz; brother, Jack; and her sister, Chris.
