Armando "Mondo" A. Pena Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Armando “Mondo” A. Pena, age 25 of Green Bay, began his spiritual journey on Saturday, January 22, 2022 at St. Vincent Hospital. He was born on May 23, 1996 in Green Bay to Vicente and Terry (Pamanet) Pena. Mondo attended Green Bay East High School and worked as a landscaper as well as in construction. He truly enjoyed spending time outside. He loved to go on long bike rides, play cribbage and take care of his cat, Bruce. He was an avid Packer fan and enjoyed watching over his grandma. Mondo was also proud of his Menominee tribal heritage and being a Godparent. Left to cherish Mondo’s memory are his parents, Terry (Chris Vlies) Pena and Vicente (Elaine) Pena; brother, Vicente; maternal grandparents, Angela Bigfire and Roland Lemieux; paternal grandfather, Juan Pena; and significant other, McKenzie Ottesen. He was further survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Mondo was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Iris Mae Pena; and aunt, Alicia Pena. A visitation will be held at the funeral home from 2:00 p.m. until the time of the service. The funeral service will be held for Mondo at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 27, 2022 at Malcore Funeral Homes-East (701 N. Baird St.). In lieu of flowers please make donations to the family in Armando’s memory.
