Viola M. Schoen

Viola M. Schoen, 76, Green Bay, entered into eternal peace Sunday morning, April 3, 2016, with her family at her side. Born June 22, 1939, in Gillette, WI, she is the daughter of the late Ace and Myrtle (Process) Leanna. Vi married Robert J. Kramer in Nov., 1959 and together the couple had six children. He preceded her in death in June, 1967. She later married Robert F. Schoen in Nov., 1975 and the couple added two more children to the family. In her younger days, Vi enjoyed time bowling, shooting darts and playing cards. She will be remembered as a wonderful wife, mom, grandma, great-grandma and friend. Vi was a compassionate, forgiving person who would find the best in everyone and was always willing to give a helping hand.

Vi is survived by her husband, Bob Schoen; seven children, Kim Hecker, Tina Kramer, Ronica Kramer, Kellie Kramer, Todd (Shannon) Kramer, Jeff (Tammy) Schoen, and Brian Schoen; 20 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, and many other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Robert Kramer; one daughter, Amanda Kramer; three grandsons, Jeremiah Coppens, Grant Schoen, and Andrew Bowser; parents, Ace and Myrtle Leanna and Levi and Celeste Reignier; many brothers and sisters.

Visitation at St. Joseph Church, 1224 12th Avenue, Wednesday, April 6th from 11am until the time of the funeral. Funeral Mass 1pm Wednesday, April 6th, at the church with the Rev. Ryan Starks officiating. Entombment in Shrine of the Good Shepherd Mausoleum. Malcore (East) Funeral Home is serving the family.
