Theodora “Teddy” (Van Klooster) Jicha, 77, Green Bay, died peacefully on May 24, 2015, surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Amsterdam, Holland on September 19, 1937, to John and Mary (Ros) Van Klooster, and she immigrated to America on April 4, 1952. Teddy graduated from St. Joseph Academy on June 7, 1956, and married Harold Jicha on December 29, 1956. Throughout her adult life she worked at various jobs, always exhibiting a positive attitude and an outstanding work ethic. Teddy presently worked at the Union Hotel in De Pere, which she enjoyed very much.
Teddy is survived by her loving husband, Harold Jicha, Green Bay; three sisters, Wilma (Ray) Wilhelm, Elizabeth (James) Clapsaddle, and Paulina (John) Harrington; one brother, William (Julie) Van Klooster; two brothers-in-law, Ralph (Sandy) Jicha, and Donald Jicha, one sister-in-law, Elaine Jicha; one step-son, Jeff Spitzer; many nieces and nephews; plus cousins in Holland.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and one brother, John Van Klooster.
Visitation in the Fr. Ken Hall at St. Willebord Church, 209 S. Adams St., Thursday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the memorial service. Memorial service 10:30 a.m. Thursday in the church with the Rev. Andrew Cribben, O. Praem officiating.
