Steven ”Steve” Grumann, 50, Green Bay, passed away peacefully at home June 3, 2015, surrounded by his family. Born on January 18, 1965, he is the son of Marlene (Riha) Grumann and the late Robert Grumann.
Steve grew up in Two Rivers, Wisconsin, where he developed a love for the outdoors. He attended UW-Stevens Point, where he obtained a Bachelor of Science in Natural Resources. Steve worked for a consulting firm (AECOM) since graduating and was highly respected and loved by his many coworkers and clients.
Steve lived his life to its fullest and never took it for granted. He enjoyed camping, woodworking, reading, traveling, playing cards, hunting, cooking, watching sports (especially on his annual NCAA tournament outings with his high school buddies) and especially attending Jimmy Buffett concerts at Alpine. No doubt he is giving us all a “Fins Up!” from heaven.
Steve was dedicated to his family and friends. He was the best big brother to his three brothers and always knew how to pick the perfect gift for his nephews. Steve was the “Grill Master” at family gatherings and he and his wife loved to entertain friends and family at home.
Steve is survived by his wife, Sue (Boucher) Grumann; mother, Marlene; three brothers, Dave (Cyndee) Grumann, Al (Jen) Grumann, and Dan (Michelle) Grumann; three nephews, Sam, Ben, and Rowan; two dogs, Max and Dexter; and many in laws. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Steve was preceded in death by his father, Robert.
Visitation is at Malcore Funeral Home 1530 W. Mason St., Wednesday, June 10, from 1 PM until the time of the memorial service at 7 PM with Chaplain Bob Nooker officiating.
Steve's family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at St. Vincent and U.W. Hospitals, the Herbst family, and to all who offered comfort, support and especially Steve's many “Prayer Warriors.”
