Sharon Stammer

Sharon Stammer, 72, Green Bay, died unexpectedly Tuesday evening, January 28, 2014, at home. Born on May 7, 1941, in De Pere, she is the daughter of the late James and Shirley (Maddix) Stammer. Sharon was raised by her grandma, Anna Maddix, who took very good care of her for 25 years. Sharon spent the remainder of her life at various nursing homes. She will be remembered for her love of Elvis, jewelry, make-up, and having her nails done.

Sharon is survived by family, caretakers and friends.

Visitation at MALCORE (West) Funeral Home, 1530 West Mason Street, Tuesday, February 4, 2014, from 4:30pm until the time of the memorial service at 6:30pm. She will be buried next to her grandma in Fort Howard Memorial Park.

The family extends a special thank you to the staffs at Ontario House and Unity Hospice. A very special thank you to her guardian of 25 years, Beth Karsten.
