Russell LaFrombois Jr.

Russell LaFrombois Jr, 82, Green Bay, passed away unexpectedly October 22, 2017. Born on October 7, 1935, in Green Bay, he is the son of the late Russell and Alice (Rasmussen) LaFrombois, Sr. He married the former Pauline Ann Mihm on November 19, 1955, at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Green Bay. Russell served in the United States Army, in Korea from 1956 to 1957 and remained in the Reserves until 1960. He graduated from the University of Wisconsin, School of Pharmacy in 1960. Russell was a Pharmacist in Green Bay for 50 years.

He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Pauline Ann; five children, Mark (Jill) LaFrombois of Green Bay, Deborah Mittelman of Peachtree City, GA, Russell III (Mary) of Whitefish Bay, WI, Andrew (Amy) LaFrombois of De Pere, WI, and Sarah (Kevin) Pethan of Green Bay, WI; sixteen grandchildren, Christopher (Megan), Jourdain, Michael, Rachel (John), Jacob, Samuel, Joshua, Nathan, Madeline, Matthew, Benjamin, Alexis (Lonnie), Kayla, Anthony, Nicholas, and Zachary; four great grandchildren, Rio, Kolby, Kylee, Henry James; sister and brother, Judy Mobasseri and Robert LaFrombois; sisters-in-law, Mary Tierney, Martha (James) Nejedlo; special friends, Robert Mannering, Gary and Patricia Davister, Jim and Kathy Denissen, and Bob and Gloria Scheriff; special neighbors, Andrew and Kay Bader, Phil and Kathy Hilgenberg; many other special friends and family.

He was preceded in death by his parents and family members: Phyllis and Rollie Kornowske, Hooshang Mobasseri, Bill Tierney, Carol and Tom McIntyre.

Visitation at Malcore Funeral Home, 701 N. Baird St., Friday, October 27th, from 4 PM until 8 PM. Parish Wake service at the funeral home at 6:30 PM. Visitation will continue Saturday at St Bernard Catholic Church, 2040 Hillside Ln, from 9 AM until the time of the Mass of Christian Burial at 11 AM with Rev. Mark Vander Steeg officiating. Full Military Honors to follow. Burial at Pleasant Hill Cemetery.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to Sue and the other nurses at St. Vincent’s fourth floor and the Green Bay Metro Fire Department.
