Ronald Edwards

Ronald Edwards, 45, Manitowoc, formerly of Green Bay, passed away peacefully, Wednesday May 1st, 2013 at home. Born on January 14, 1968, at St. Mary’s Hospital he is the son of late Robert Sr. and Olive Edwards. Ronald went to Suring High School. He was a die-hard fan of Green Bay Packers. Ron was the life of the party and he always found a way to comfort everyone. He loved fishing and Rock and Roll. Ron was very proud of the nickname his father gave him, “The Great Gatsby."

Ron is survived by his two children, Christopher, and Ashley and boyfriend Curtis Mitchell both of Milwaukee; mother, Olive Edwards; longtime partner, Danielle Starks and her three children, Dillon, Austin, Peyton Knutson; six brothers and sisters, Robyn Wilson, Roxanne (David) Oliver, Robert (Michelle)Edwards Jr., Randall (Keeli) Edwards, Renee (Dale) VanStraten, Angie (Jeremiah) Sullivan; two Aunt, Pat Ness, and Judy Artz; cousins, Michael Curtis and family from Milwaukee; many nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

He was preceded in death by his father; one son Eric; grandparents and cousin, Candace Allen.
Visitation at MALCORE (East) Funeral Home University Ave at Baird St., Monday, May 13, from 2 PM until the time of the memorial service at 3 PM.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the Manitowoc EMTs, police department and Malcore Funeral Home.
