Robert “Bob” Melvin O’Leary, 54, Green Bay, died after a short illness on February 23, 2013, at a local hospital. Born on January 8, 1960, in Green Bay, he is the son of Mildred (Slechta) and the late Melvin O’Leary. Bob was a handyman who enjoyed helping his neighbors. He also cherished having bonfires with friends, and spending time with his long-time companion, Bonnie.
Bob is survived by his mother, Millie O’Leary, Green Bay; one sister, Jacqueline O’Leary, Green Bay; one half-brother, Mike (Jill) Slechta, Wrightstown; two nieces, Sarah O’Leary, and Ashley Nault; one nephew, Charlie Slechta; loving companion, Bonnie Delaney; and his extended relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Melvin; two sisters, Pamela O’Leary, and Colleen O’Leary; and one brother, Paul O’Leary.
Visitaiton at Malcore (East) Funeral Home, University Ave. at Baird St., Thursday from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the memorial service at 2:00 p.m., with the Rev. Wil Tabb officiating.
