Robert Dalton Sr.

October 21, 1950 — September 27, 2013

Robert “Bob” Dalton, Sr., 62, Green Bay, passed away September 27, 2013, after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. Born on October 21, 1950, in Green Bay, he is the son of the late Sheldon and Gladys (Van Lanen) Dalton. He married the former Marilyn “Lynn” Theys on December 20, 1974, in Green Bay. Bob worked for Anamax as a foreman of the hide cellar for over ten years. He drove semi truck for 39 years with Dave Briquelet and Olympic Freightways out of Chicago (McDonalds). Bob was not only a hard worker, but a loving father and papa. In his spare time he loved fishing, traveling, and times spent at the casino. He was always known for his quick wit.

He is survived by his wife of thirty nine years, Marilyn; three children, Sara Dalton and Jeremiah Bartol, Michelle (Peter) Wainio, Robert Dalton Jr. and Jennifer Collins all of Green Bay; seven grandchildren, Brady, Logan, Lilie, Essance, Dominic, Hayden, and Halle.; three sisters and three brothers, Marion Cummins, Nancy (Elroy) Phillips, Dorothy Lepp, James (Darlene) Dalton, John (Debra) Dalton, and Terry (Lisa) Dalton; godchild Thomas “Tom Tom” Lepp Jr.; special caretaker and “other wife”, Elroy; many other nieces, nephews, close friends, and other relatives.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents; step brother, Ronnie Van Lanen; grandson, Shad Rabe-Dalton, and aunts and uncles.

Visitation at MALCORE (East) Funeral Home, University Ave. at Baird St., Monday from 4 PM until the time of the Wake service at 7 PM. Visitation will continue Tuesday at the funeral home from 9 AM until the time of funeral Mass at 11 AM at Saints Peter and Paul Church, 710 N. Baird St., with Rev. Anthony Cirignani, OFM officiating. Entombment at Nicolet Memorial Gardens.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff of Vince Lombardi Cancer Center, especially Dr. Patel, the Aurora VNAs, all of the doctors and nurses at Aurora St. Lukes in Milwaukee WI, especially Dr. Kramer, and Dr. Shajahpal. They would also like to thank Heartland Hospice.
