Robert (Bob) Crooks, 89, Green Bay, passed away at home Friday afternoon, February 3, 2017. Born in Indiana, he is the son of the late Wilbur and Margaret (Norton) Crooks. Bob married the former Vernonica ‘Ronnie’ (Schuller) in 1950. She preceded him in death in 1993. He was employed as a chemical engineer for many years and retired as a computer programmer. He enjoyed playing bridge, watching the Packers and Brewers, hunting and fishing, crossword puzzles and times spent with his family.
Survived by: two daughters: Jody (Cole) Fenske of Germantown and Nancy (Doug) Hamm of Wisconsin Rapids; 9 grandchildren: Sarah (Sean) McDermott, Amanda (Jason) Olejniczak, Rachel Fenski, Melanie Hahn, Rosella Reinwand-Crooks, Maggie (Brady) Linzmeier, Nicole (West) Sprague, Doug Hamm and Samantha Hamm; many great grandchildren; one sister: Mary Ann Beuoy of Indiana; nieces and nephews.
Also preceded in death by one daughter: Barbara (Arnoldl) Hahn; one granddaughter: Debbie Hahn; one brother: Tom Crooks.
Private services will be held at a later date. Malcore (West) Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
