Rita L. Roskom, 90, Green Bay, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, December 13, 2014, at her home. Born May 25, 1924, in Green Bay, she is the daughter of the late Edward and Mabel (Verheyden) Miller. On Feb. 16, 1946, she married Floyd M. Roskom (Nuts to You from Floyd) at St. Willebrord Church, and he preceded her in death on July 12, 2006. Rita was very dedicated to St. Willebrord Parish throughout her life.
Rita is survived by four brothers-in-law, Marcus Roskom, Donald (Shirley) Roskom, Claude (Gladys) Roskom, and Levi (Alice) Roskom; one sister-in-law, Arvilla (Ted) Hasse; and many very special nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband of 60 years, Floyd; one brother, Don (Arlene) Mikol; and many brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.
Visitation Tuesday at Malcore (West) Funeral Home, 1530 West Mason St., from 4:30-7:30 p.m. Parish wake service 7:00 p.m. Visitation will continue Wednesday at St. Willebrord Church, 209 S. Adams Street, from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the funeral. Funeral Mass 10:30 a.m. at the church with the Rev. Andy Cribben, O. Praem officiating. Entombment in Allouez Chapel Mausoleum.
