Richard J. Van Ess, 70, Green Bay, died peacefully at a local nursing home on Saturday, January 25, 2014. Born on April 13, 1943, in Green Bay, he is the son of the late Julian and Rosemary (Patzke) Van Ess. Richard enjoyed watching church services on television, going to the movies, eating out, and working at ASPIRO.
Richard is survived by one brother and two sisters; numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation at Malcore (East) Funeral Home, University Ave. at Baird Street, Monday from 4:00 p.m. until the time of the funeral. Funeral service 5:00 p.m. at the funeral home with the Rev. Ralph Merkatoris officiating. Burial in Allouez Catholic Cemetery.
