Renie F. Frisque, 91, Red Banks, died peacefully, Monday, March 9, 2015, at Anna’s House. Born in Champion, February 10, 1924, she is the daughter of the late Paul and Flora (Vrabus) Renier. Renie married Carrel Frisque June 20, 1942, at Robinsonville Presbyterian Church, and he preceded her in death March 11, 2008. She worked as a waitress at Club Chalet in her teens, Bay Ship as a “Rosie the Riveter,” Algoma Hardwoods, and later Schreiber Foods. Renie was a den mother for the Cub Scouts. She was a member of Robinsonville Presbyterian for 60 years, and most recently a member of Harvest Community Church, serving as a deacon, choir member and also taught Sunday school. Renie enjoyed gardening at Renier Gardens, dancing, bowling, and had a fondness for the outdoors and nature.
She is survived by her children, David (Jane) Frisque of Swanton, VT, Paul (Sharon) Frisque, and Karen Frisque-Feld all of Green Bay; 7 grandchildren, Joe (Sara), Adam (Jaci), Mark Frisque, Sarah (Matt) List, Cassie Frisque, and Justin and Megan Feld; 3 great grandchildren, Brayden, Logan, and William; brother-in-law, Elmer (Verna Mae) Frisque; sisters-in-law, Germaine Zellner and Iris Pinchart; further survived by other relatives and friends.
Renie was preceded in death by her parents; husband; sisters, Esther (Russell) Drews, Arlene (Wally) Smith, and Betty (Willard) Charles; brother, Russell (Betty) Renier; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Linus (Beatrice) Hermans, Marvin (Carol Jean) Frisque, and Clarence Zellner; nephews, Ken Charles and Dennis Zellner; and niece, Darlene (Drews) Rybicki.
Visitation at Malcore (East) Funeral Home, 701 N. Baird Street, Friday from 4:00 PM until the time of the funeral at 6:30 PM. with Pastor Kevin Leach officiating. Burial at Robinsonville Presbyterian Cemetery. In lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been established at the funeral home.
