Pearl Moudry, 97, Green Bay, went to Heaven peacefully to be with her husband on June 29, 2014, with family by her side. Born on June 10, 1917, in Green Bay, she is the daughter of the late Joseph and Ruby (Schaal) Fend. On April 12, 1941, she married Richard “Dick” Moudry, and he preceded her in death on May 20, 2005. Pearl was proud to raise her children for many years. When her kids were older, she and Dick owned and operated the Colonial Inn in Oconto Falls for many years. In retirement Pearl enjoyed wintering in Texas with her husband.
Pearl is survived by her two loving daughters, Jo Ann (Jerry) Borman, Oconto, and Mary (Jim) Ama, Green Bay; six grandchildren, Jay (Alicia) Borman, Eagan, MN, and their children, A.J., Jordan, Jacie; Jeff (Kristi) Borman, Avondale, PA, and their children, Eric, Rachel, Luke, and Claire; Maj. (Retired) Jon (Simona) Borman, Southern Pines, NC, and their daughter, Alison; Tina (Cole) Jacobsen, and their son, Drew Jacobson; Heather (Barry) Mollen, and their children, Bailey and Braeden; and Brett Moudry (Summer) Moudry; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband; one son, Richard “Rick” Moudry; parents; one brother, Leonard Fend; and one sister, Marion Orde.
Visitation at St. Joseph Church, 936 Ninth Street, Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral. Mass of Christian Burial 11:00 a.m. at the church with the Rev. Don Everts officiating. Entombment in Shrine of the Good Shepherd Mausoleum. Malcore (West) Funeral Home is assisting the family, 499-4100.
