Pauline A. Kobylarczyk
June 29, 1928 — July 21, 2017
Pauline A. Kobylarczyk, 89, formerly of Chicago, IL, Pulaski, WI, and Green Bay, WI, peacefully passed away at her daughter’s home in South Carolina on Friday, July 21, 2017. Born Pauline Angeline Bem in Chicago, IL on June 29, 1928, she married Frank Kobylarczyk on November 24, 1945.
Over the years, Pauline worked several jobs outside the home, but her greatest work was that of homemaker and caregiver to others. As daughter, wife, mother, and grandmother, she gave selflessly with unconditional love and compassion. Her father lived under her care in his final years. Pauline was steadfast in caring for her special needs son so he could remain living at home until adulthood. She cared for her husband throughout their marriage including round-the-clock care during his last three years with Alzheimer’s. Pauline watched over her grandchildren when they were young, reading to them, playing with them, and teaching them to polka dance among many other things.
Pauline is survived by her son, Robert Kobylarczyk; daughter, Judie Schneider; granddaughters; Cynda Schneider and Kendra (Scott) Maddox; grandson, Austin Schneider; and other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank S. Kobylarczyk in 2008; her son, Frank F. Kobylarczyk in 1974; her sisters, Mary (Frank) Tracy and Irene (Frank) Piotrowski; and other relatives and friends.
Visitation at St. Maximilian Kolbe Church, 6051 Noble Street, Sobieski, WI from 1-2 p.m., Tuesday, August 1st. The Mass of Christian Burial will be at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at the church, with the Rev. Gerald A. Prusakowski, OFM officiating. Burial in St. John Cantius Cemetery, Sobieski, WI. Malcore (West) Funeral Home of Green Bay, WI is assisting the family.
Blessings to Judie, who cared for Pauline for the last several years so she could remain living at home. Special thanks to her nephew, Raymond Kuzniar and his wife Joan, goddaughter, Marianne Piotrowski, nephew, John Piotrowski, and niece, Christine Godowski, who each kept in touch with Pauline often until her health no longer allowed it.
In lieu of other expressions of sympathy, a memorial fund has been established at the funeral home benefiting Good Shepherd Manor in Momence, IL where her beloved son, Robert, has been cared for since 1972.
