Neil Hoffman

September 28, 1934 — April 12, 2015

Neil Hoffman, 80, Green Bay, passed away April 12, 2015, with his wife by his side. Born on September 28, 1934 he is the son of the late Charles and Mabel Hoffman. Neil graduated from Gresham High School. He was an over the road truck driver and was an owner/operator. Neil finished his career with V/S Midwest carriers but worked for numerous companies over his fifty-year career. He married Mary Schleis June 29, 2003, and was married by Rev. Dane Radecki O Praem, a close family friend. Neil enjoyed Nascar racing, hunting, fishing, and traveling. He had numerous best friends who happened to be four legged. Neil will be joined by Rocky, and Buffy, and will be especially missed by Coco, and Jack.

He is survived by his wife, Mary; his former wife, Shirley (Schreiber) Hoffman and their seven children, Terry, Denise, Dennis, Donna, Curtis, David, and Jodi; seventeen grandchildren; twenty-six great grandchildren; one brother, Marshall (Jackie) Hoffman.

Preceded in death by his parents; grandchildren and aunts and uncles; many other relatives and friends.

Visitation at Malcore East Funeral Home 701 N. Baird St. Wednesday April 15, from 4 PM until 8 PM. Memorial service at 7 PM with Rev. Dane Radecki O Praem officiating.

Mary would like to thank friends, co-workers, relatives, and Green Bay Fire and Rescue for their support and friendship over his extended illness.
