Michael L. Larson, 71, Green Bay, formerly of Sturgeon Bay and La Crosse, passed away, Thursday, December 18, 2014, at a Green Bay nursing home. Born Nov. 2, 1943, in La Crosse, he is the son of the late Lloyd and Mildred (Thorud) Larson. Michael will especially be remembered for his love of fishing.
Michael is survived by two children, Michael Larson and Jane (Tim) Snider of La Crosse; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; two sisters, Sandy Larson of Toledo, OH and Debbie Grimslid of West Salem; one brother, Ron (Vicki) Larson of La Crosse; many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Dennis, Doug and Greg Larson; and long-time friend, Marie Vertz.
Visitation at Malcore (West) Funeral Home, 1530 W. Mason Street, Green Bay, Wednesday Jan. 7 from 12 noon until the time of the service at 2pm. Burial in Fort Howard Memorial Garden, Green Bay.
