Matthew Pascal

February 24, 1943 — April 16, 2014

Matthew L. Pascal, 71, Green Bay, passed away April 15, 2014, at home. Born February 24, 1943, on Molokai, Hawaii, he is the son of the late Benjamin and Amoy (Lau) Pascal. In 1969, Matt left Hawaii and settled in Highland Park, IL. After a number of years he moved to Crivitz and eventually to Green Bay. Matt was employed with Walco for a time before working as a custodian at Oneida Bingo and Casino. Matt will be remembered for his love of fishing and his ability to tell a good story.

Matt is survived by one sister and brother-in-law, Miriam and John Wysocki of Gurnee, IL; one brother and sister-in-law, Daniel and Barbara Pascal of Kailua, HI; step-brother and his wife, John and Haunani Meheula of Green Bay; sister-in-law, Mary Pascal of Wonder Lake, IL; step-sister-in-law, Betty Lau of Las Vegas; many nieces, nephews and dear friends.

Also preceded in death by one sister, Hannah (Joseph) Kaaihue; one brother, Paul Pascal; and step-brother, James Lau.

Visitation at MALCORE (West) Funeral Home, 1530 West Mason Street, Tuesday, April 22, from 4pm until the time of the service. Memorial service 7pm Tuesday at the funeral home. After the service, Matt will be returned to his home in Hawaii.

Matt’s family extend a very special thank you to John and Haunani for their exceptional aloha and love shown to Matt over so many years.
