Marion L. Dutkiewicz

April 27, 1930 — October 26, 2015

Marion L. Dutkiewicz, 85, Green Bay, passed peacefully into eternal life on October 26, 2015, where she was met by her husband and loved ones. She was born in Grand Rapids, Michigan on April 27, 1930, to Adrian and Irene DeBoer. Marion married Raymond Dutkiewicz in 1949 and enjoyed being a wife, mother, and homemaker. The family moved to Green Bay in 1969. The couple formed friendships with the neighbor families that continued up until the time of their deaths. They were members of St. Agnes Church. Marion enjoyed shopping, collecting, her computer, puzzles, Bridge, and the birthday get-togethers with all of her close neighbor friends and family. She loved to have her children and grandchildren over as often as possible to feast and play Poker. She was a great Mother, Fabulous Grandmother and a Wonderful Friend. She adored her grandchildren and loved watching them grow into adulthood and then being presented with great grandchildren.

She will be greatly missed by her three children and their families:

Jan and John Huguet of Green Bay and their children and grandchildren: Jennifer Galler (Seth) and their son, Gavin of Seymour; Marc and Bo Huguet and their children, Noah, Shion, Michael and Caden of Neenah; and Matthew Huguet of Green Bay.

Frank and Elaine Dutkiewicz of Florida and their children and grandchildren: Amy and Eric Long of Hammond, Indiana; David Dutkiewicz of Hammond; Mike and Kelly Dutkiewicz and their son Patrick of Gary, Indiana.

Sue and Gary Harmer of Green Bay, and their children and grandchildren: Becky and Josh Theyel of Green Bay and their children Morgan, Brenna and Kasen; Charlene and Ryan Wisniewski of DePere and their children Evan, Bradley and Katelyn; Lauren Schiller (Andy) of DePere and their children Vincent and Victoria.

She was preceded in death by her husband; two infant great granddaughters; her brothers and sister, Eileen (Bill) Klassen, Gerald (Betsy) DeBoer, and Roger (Diane) DeBoer; and many friends.

Malcore (West) Funeral Home has taken care of her final needs and the family will have a private celebration of her life. She will be inurned along with her husband of 57 years, Ray, in Woodlawn Cemetery.

The family wishes to express many thanks to Harmony House of Green Bay (now Cottonwood) for their wonderful care and support: Doctor John Kiser for helping her through the struggles of the last couple of months; and Southern Care Hospice for allowing her to be able to stay in her home and pass with dignity.
