Lynda Marie Ahrens

Lynda M. Ahrens, 68, De Pere, died peacefully at a local nursing home November 20, 2016. Born on February 28, 1948, in Niagara, she is the daughter of Pauline Peterson and the late Earl Senecal. She had personal struggles during her life, but cherished times spent with family, especially at a relative’s cabin and during the holidays. Lynda also loved animals, and she cared for many dogs and cats throughout the years.

Lynda is survived by one son, Travis Ahrens, Hugo, MN; three grandchildren, Gunther, Hanna, and Amelia; two sisters, Sandy (Mark) Burgoyne, Cedarburg, and Pat (Charlie) Galvan, Homestead; her mother; and nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her infant daughter, Christy; brother, Randy Senecal; and her father.

Visitation at Malcore (East) Funeral Home, 701 N. Baird St., Monday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the memorial service at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Barb Barnes officiating. Entombment at Fort Howard Memorial Park.
