Lu Anna (Kassien) Wilson, 60, Denmark, died unexpectedly at a local hospital on May 25, 2014, with family by her side. Born on October 22, 1953, in Woodruff, Wis., she is the daughter of Richard Kassien, Sr., and the late Joan Larson. Lu Anna was a 1972 graduate of Lena High School. On July 22, 2001, she married Wayne Wilson in Eagle River, Wis.
Lu Anna is survived by her loving husband, Wayne; two children, William (Kitty) Dupuis, Crystal River, FL, and Cheri (Shan) Egan, Waverly, Iowa, and their dog, “Griz”; two grandchildren, Cody and Alyssa Dupuis, both of Crystal River, FL; father, Richard Kassien, Sr., Merrill; two brothers, and one sister-in-law, Louis (Emily) Kassien, Merrill, and Shawn Kassien, Green Bay; one sister and brother-in-law, Kathleen (Gary, Sr.) Lade, Oconto; two sisters-in-law, Rhonda Kassien, Lena, and Shirley Van Spankeren, Green Bay; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Joan Larson; two brothers, Richard Kassien, II, and Theodore Van Spankeren.
Visitation at Malcore (East) Funeral Home, 701 N. Baird St., Friday, June 6, 2014, from 4:00 p.m. until the time of the service. Memorial service 7:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
