Lorraine J. Bradford

July 22, 1929 — April 1, 2014

Lorraine J. Bradford, 84, Pulaski, entered eternal peace Tuesday morning, April 1, 2014, while at the McCormick Memorial Home with her family at her side. Born July 22, 1929, in Hatley, WI, she is the daughter of the late Michael and Mary (Gracyalny) Walters. Lorraine married Edward Bradford, July 30, 1949, in Milwaukee and he preceded her in death on October 23, 2007. Lorraine was active within her religious community serving as House Mother for the MOM’s Home (A & A Alexandrina Crisis Pregnancy Center), a member of “Right to Life” and was involved as a member of the “Christian Mothers” for 35 years.

Lorraine is survived by seven children and their spouses, Susan and Tom Proft, Marinette, Peggy and John Richter, Tucson, AZ, Kathie and Jerome Long, Milton, WI, Cindy Bradford-Zappia, Tucson, AZ, Edward and Maria Bradford, Oconto Falls, Teri Bradford, Howard, and Michelle and Larry Frye, Tucson, AZ; 20 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren; one sister, Alice Swiderski, Ocala, FL; two brothers and a sister-in-law, Ernest and Evelyn Walters, Mosinee and Leonard Walters, Mosinee; sister-in-law, Edith Walters, Wausau; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was also preceded in death by sisters, Esther and Evelyn; brothers, Henry and Frank.

Visitation at McCormick Memorial Home Chapel, 212 Iroquois Ave., Thursday from 2-4pm. Visitation to continue Friday at Malcore (East) Funeral Home, 701 N. Baird Street, from 4-7pm. Rosary to be recited at 6:30pm Friday at the funeral home. Visitation Saturday from 9-10am at the funeral home. Funeral Mass, 10am, Saturday at Saints Peter and Paul Church with the Rev. Anthony V. Cirignani, OFM officiating. Entombment in the Shrine of the Good Shepherd Mausoleum. Visit www.malcorefuneralhome.com to sign the guest book or to share a memory with the family.
