Kenneth J. Plont, 73, Green Bay, found peace, Tuesday evening, May 28, 2013, at a local nursing home. Born April 21, 1940, in Green Bay, he is the son of the late Clyde and Dorothy (Opicka) Plont. Ken was a long time employee of Schreiber Foods. In his younger days, he enjoyed bowling, boating and fishing on the bay, and often would be found driving his motorcycle and “vette”. Ken was a former member of the Retread Motorcycle Club. Most recently, he would spend his time playing cards, especially cribbage, with friends.
Ken is survived by two sisters, Marlene Plont of Appleton and JoAnn Karklus of Muskego; four nephews and three nieces; other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Jean Bennet; and his brothers-in-law, Bob Bennet, Floyd LaFond and Daryl Karklus.
Private family services were held with the assistance of MALCORE (East) Funeral Home. Entombment in Greenlawn Memorial Park, Neenah.
